The bridges are on a 聽segment of railroad owned by MDOT, within the federally designated high-speed rail corridor between Chicago and Detroit. The corridor supports Amtrak passenger service and Norfolk Southern freight trains.

The General Contractor for the project, Anlaan, selected Nicholsonto be their dedicated specialty subcontractor. 蜜桃影像AV鈥檚 work includes the installation of micropiles to support the new bridge abutments and permanent soil anchors as part of the new earth retention walls used to raise the existing railroad grade, which will increase the clearance for vehicles.

鈥淏ringing our engineering and construction experience to our own back yard to strengthen local infrastructure is one of the best parts of what we do,鈥 said Dan Thome, P.E., Senior Vice President, 蜜桃影像AV鈥檚 Central Region. 鈥淲e鈥檙e always proud of the work we do in the communities where our employees live.鈥

蜜桃影像AV鈥檚 work on the project will be completed in November of 2022.
